ABOUT US■
Wild Rise creates hands-on workshops and small-group journeys that bring people together through food, culture, and shared experience.
Our workshops are rooted in heritage food skills and the pleasure of making something by hand. Our journeys take that same spirit into the world, connecting guests with regional food, local traditions, artisans, chefs, producers, and the places that shape how people live.
What connects them is a belief that some of the most rewarding experiences happen when we participate rather than simply observe. When we make, taste, learn, explore, and share something with others.
Wild Rise is about creating more of those moments: experiences that are thoughtful, engaging, and full of the things that make life richer.
Meet the FounderWild Rise began with bread, but it was never only about bread.
I became fascinated by microbes and the quiet intelligence of fermentation, by how something so alive and unseen can transform a few simple ingredients into nourishment. Teaching sourdough became a way to share a heritage skill that still matters: making food from scratch and passing that knowledge from one generation to the next.
As I began offering workshops, something unexpected happened. Sourdough became a vehicle for connection. People came to learn how to make bread, but around the table they also talked, laughed, shared stories, and connected. I realised I wasn’t simply teaching a skill; I was creating spaces where people could feel welcomed, included, and part of something.
Travel has always been another central thread in my life. Since my teens, I’ve travelled widely, drawn to places where I can meet local people, learn traditions, and understand how people really live and eat. I adore people, their stories, resilience, creativity, and the ways food and tradition carry culture from one generation to the next.
Wild Rise brings these threads together: food, travel, and human connection. It is the natural evolution of a life shaped by curiosity, gathering people together, and a desire to experience the world not simply by observing it, but by taking part.
The Heart of Wild Rise
Whether we're exploring a new destination or baking bread together, I want you to feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. More than anything, I hope you leave with beautiful memories, meaningful conversations, genuine connections, and a deeper appreciation for the people, traditions, and places that make each destination so special.
Because the journeys we remember most aren't simply about where we went. They're about the people who welcomed us, the tables we gathered around, the stories we shared, and the moments that remind us just how rich life can be.
